The Goldwell Structure + Shine straightening service is not recommended for afro hair.

1. Shampoo with Dualsenses Deep Cleansing Shampoo. Do not massage the scalp to avoid sensitizing the skin.
Rinse, then towel dry the hair.
2. Spray Structure + Shine Optimizer to make hair more docile and even out structure. Do not rinse.
3. Comb to detangle the hair.
4. Only in the case of sensitive hair, apply Structure + Shine Protection with a brush, focusing on the most damaged areas of the hair
5. Divide the hair into 6 sections: right-left nape, parietal area (top of the head) right-left, frontal area right-left.
6. With a brush, apply Structure + Shine Agent 1. Apply pure, undiluted or mixed.

Recommended doses:
- Short hair 80gr
- Medium length 100gr
- Long hair 120gr
Distribute starting from the nape of the neck, apply to thin strands (about 0.5cm) and leave 1cm untreated at the root.
Cover with papers and leave on for 18-25 minutes.

7. To verify that the treatment was successful, perform a knot test on 2-3 very thin strands in different areas of the head:
Knot Test: Form a knot, then tighten by pulling to create a small loop and release tension
If the knot remains closed, the hair is relaxed and you can proceed with the straightening service.
If the knot widens or opens, extend the laying time and repeat test 8.

When the hair is well relaxed, rinse the hair thoroughly for 3-5 minutes, then towel-dry.

9. Apply Structure + Shine Optimizer to detangle hair and protect from heat, comb gently to better distribute the product, then blow dry the hair completely by straightening it with the help of a brush

10. Divide the hair into 6 sections to proceed with straightening with the straightener, maximum recommended temperature of 180°C.
Reapply Structure + Shine Optimizer before the straightener to protect the hair and allow the straightener to glide easily.
Always straighten your hair in thin strands, from roots to ends. Make 3-4 passes per strand

11. Divide the hair into 6 sections and apply Structure + Shine Agent 2 Neutralizing Cream with a brush.
Apply pure, undiluted or mixed. Always starting from the nape of the neck, apply Agent 2 Neutralizing Cream, section by section, from the roots to the ends, to stabilize the straightening. Leave on for 5-8 minutes without heat source.

12. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
In the 3 days following service: do not tie up your hair and do not wash your hair.
